We all saw the horrible pictures and videos all over the internet about the Angora Rabits. To quote PETA:

The undercover footage, shot by PETA Asia, found horrific routine cruelty to angora rabbits, whose long, soft fur is often used in sweaters and accessories. The investigator filmed workers who were violently ripping the fur from the animals' sensitive skin as they screamed at the top of their lungs in pain. After this terrifying and barbaric ordeal, which the rabbits endure every three months, many of them appeared to go into shock, lying motionless inside their tiny, filthy cages, with no solid flooring or bedding, and without the vital companionship of other rabbits. After two to five years, those who have survived are hung upside down, their throats are slit, and their bodies are sold.

Rabbits who have their fur cut or sheared also suffer: During the cutting process, their front and back legs are tightly tethered—a terrifying experience for any prey animal—and the sharp cutting tools inevitably wound them as they struggle desperately to escape.

In 2013 it is UNACCEPTABLE to abuse animals in such a horrible way! There are so much alternatives for clothes and accesoires! Sign this petition to show that you will not only NEVER buy clothes and accesoiries made of Angora fur that is produced in a way that animals are being hurt, but also think that gouverments all over the world should take action and illigalize import of fur produced this way! We can make a difference by showing all the farmers who do this to the rabits that we will only buy their products if no animals are being hurt while producing it!

Please know that not ALL farmers hurt animals while producing angora fur, this petition is not against them but against the farmers who produce the fur in a way that animals are being hurt. We are not against ALL angora fur but only the fur that causes stress and pain to the rabits. DONT FORGET TO SHARE THE LINK!!
