Gorillaz has been all about environmental issues and political/societal call outs with their albums in the past, even making an album all about climate change, Plastic Beach, where they are overtly critical of such matters. so one has to wonder, why are they supporting a money laundering scheme that’s harmful to the environment?

NFTs can represent digital files such as art, audio, videos, items in video games and other forms of creative works. So, it’s questionably unethical for the environment, and could prove to be harmful.
