The South African community is filled with inspired people who are keen to make a difference and work together to do so. There are over 100 000 registered NPOs in the country (and approx. 50 000 unregistered ones) (http://ow.ly/HE1vu) and each carries the desire to help and lay down their lives for their fellow man (something intrinsic to our culture).

The only barriers to harnessing this potential is the financial strains of living in a third world country along with the lack of the wide distribution of technologies that will allow the right voices to be heard and the right people to reach each other and collaborate across impossible distances (not geologically but economically).

Not only are we hungry for new opportunities to uplift the nations within the country and striving against limited resources to make real these dreams of a better future, but in this day and age technology is an instrument that both entices the engagement of the youth and is the message that should carry this culture of ours to our future generations.
