Most of smartphones used by Malaysians are Android, but the Android phones produced by the creator of Android are not available in Malaysia.

Pixel phones have thousands of fans from Malaysia. Despite not being officially sold and supported in Malaysia, Pixel fans get their phone through sellers who imported it from Pixel supported countries.

There are few Google Pixel FB groups with thousands of users. That fact alone tells how Pixel have valid purchase support if it were officially supported and sold in Malaysia.

With 3G shutdown is coming this year end, we can't afford to have normal calls on 2G network. Current workaround for Pixel users are to root and modify the system files but not many prefer such approach.

Google has really stepped up it's game in Phone with Pixel 6 lineups, it's time for the phones to be available in Malaysia.

Currently the only hardware from Google sold officially in Malaysia is very limited: Chromebooks, Chromeboxes (namely a few)

Google is not a startup brand, plus Google Malaysia has been in Malaysia for years; empowering Malaysian through ads and Google Workspace, it's already time for the next level of experience with Google products for Malaysia.
