The new Google Images layout changed in August 5, 2019, with the image being in the right side instead of in the center. According to Google, this is supposed to help with making shopping decisions, but who shops using Google Images? It's frustrating that the image goes in the side instead of the middle, and that's too much information to look at instead of just looking at a nice, enlarged image in the center. The worst part is, according to Google, this is permanent, and they haven't given us an option to change back to the old UI. I am not the only one that dislikes the new UI layout, and there a lot of feedback sent to Google about at least adding an option for a new UI layout, but Google doesn't seem to care, and everyone is starting to make a different search engine their default. If you don't like this new UI, this is a petition.
