Problem
Here in Pleasanton, CA schools and families pay too much for the speeds their internet service provider provide. For example, Comcast here in Pleasanton charges $70 for 250mbps, while Google Fiber charges $70 for 1000mbps. That's 400% better! Schools of today use many internet services for classwork and homework. With bad and unstable internet connection like this, some students are struggling to do their homework.

Solution
We can solve this problem together by signing and sharing this petition so that this petition can reach Google LLC. and the Pleasanton City Council. Together we can bring better and more stable internet to Pleasanton and the cities around us.

Personal story
We are students of Foothill Highschool of Pleasanton, Calfornia. We have experienced many instances of unstable internet during our daily schedule. Many residents and students of Pleasanton have also reported unstable and slow internet for very high prices. In school, many teachers aren't able to do activities because of the erratic and slow connections. With Google Fiber's and the Pleasanton City Council's help, we can bring fast and stable internet for a low price.
