Google has yet to reverse the changes to our beloved features meanwhile some enthusiastic developers have stepped in to try to reverse the damage by launching extensions that partially bring back the functionality, still this does not fix the problem as extensions are hosted on the chrome web store and google can remove them anytime they also do not fix the problem and inconvenience faced my mobile users.
