Keep GOODLIFE Child Minding open!!

Keep GOODLIFE Child Minding open!!
The Issue
BACKGROUND
GoodLife has decided to close ALL their "JUMP!" Child Minding services across Canada and one of the first to go is the room at the Toronto Mount Pleasant Club on July 14th, 2017.
GOODLIFE's POSITION
Although GoodLife issued the following statement, we have yet to find ONE parent, gym member or staff that was included in the consultation process:
“This decision was a difficult one to make, however after much discussion and research we have identified the need to offer our Members a space to practice meditation, mindful stretching and reflection.”
“In the end, since this child minding service, which is not within GoodLife’s core business, has had limited demand, the decision had been made to discontinue the service.” Jane Riddell (President & COO)
. . . . AND YET on their website and in their promotional material GOODLIFE states:
“As a Canadian company, we view community investments not simply as a responsibility, but as an essential component in building strong and healthy communities”.
GOODLIFE MEMBERS POSITION
Communities are characterized by young couples, and families with young children, including single parents who regularly use the JUMP! It’s what makes our clubs a very special place!
The majority of members with young children joined Goodlife Fitness because it offers child minding (fee for service). In MOST cases, if child minding was not available, these parent members would have little opportunity to workout. This is a BIG CONCERN!!
WHAT ARE WE ASKING?
We are asking GoodLife to RECONSIDER their decision and leave the JUMP program in place.
Please support your friends; please support your gym community; please sign our petition!
NOTE: If you would like to upload a short video on what the jump program means to your family, please email: donotclosejump@gmail.com
