Students at Gonzaga University are recognizing the unfair bias that Gonzaga holds as they ban the creation of clubs around sex education and pro-choice, yet allows for the creation of pro-life clubs that are able to hold demonstrations on campus. The pro-life club is sponsored by our Gonzaga Student Body Association that is supposed to advocate for student issues yet does not have the same support for other clubs. We demand Gonzaga either ban pro-life clubs or allow for the creation of pro-choice/sex education clubs. It is either all or nothing and as our missions statement says we strive for holistic education, yet do not allow for education around sex. If Gonzaga holds a neutral view on abortion then they need to ensure that both sides are able to advocate instead of just one. Ban pro-life club or allow for pro-choice club to be created.
