The sole purpose of this is to TURN a negative situation into a positive one by showing how special our Michigan community is, how much we love having a PGA event back in Detroit, and how great it is to have a legend like Phil here. 

Let's all show support for Phil Mickelson and not let one negative, irrelevant news article be the story or prevent Phil from returning. Instead, let’s bring together our golf community and show that WE care by signing and saying something nice below. 

The Rocket Mortgage Classic has also decided to officially get behind this initiative as well! If you attend the tournament, you'll be able to scan their mobile fan guide and sign the petition. Just look for the QR code stations around the golf course.

Metro Detroit Golfers LLC has donated $2,740 to The Children’s Foundation who played with Phil earlier this week in the AREA 313 Celebrity Challenge and has already been working with the Rocket Mortgage Classic and their Changing the Course initiative to end the digital divide.  Phil has also agreed to provide a $100,000 donation himself to help get our community more connected!
