Nowadays, people are focused on material things rather than on simple things that can give you happiness and comfort like hugs. Hug is a simple thing that you can do to make someone feel safe or loved. The elderly is a perfect example of people that should feel loved. They are the perfect example because some people forget to give love or care for the elderly and they only have short time to live. Elderly needs attention and affection. Our group, The HUG Foundation, aims to help the elderly feel secured and loved by giving them the most Heart-warming Unconditional Gift which is the HUG because HUGs represent love. Our group also aims to promote the awareness and create an online petition entitled “Give HUG, Give Love” with a goal of delivering joy and warmth to the elderly.
