Public Riding Arena In Bundall

Riding in open horse riding parks can be dangerous; you face the chance of falling off and having your horse run onto the road and getting seriously injured, even worse you face the chances of your horse bolting onto the road with you on his/her back putting you, the horse and pedestrians in danger.
There are many concerns about an available safe and public riding area in Bundall on the Gold Coast. If there's anywhere that needs a closed in public arena more then anywhere else it's Bundall. There are no safe public places to work your horses without facing a risk of both horse and rider getting hurt.
If council were to build a public arena many believe it would lead to a lot less riding injuries and allow the horses to get out where the owners know they stand less risk of being hurt.
Many people including myself in Bundall have had an accident with a horse who has broken loose. You sit there wondering where they'll go, what they'll do and if they'll hurt themselves or someone else.
I believe building a public arena would help with the safety of surrounding residents and vehicles and also the safety of the trainers and their horses.
