Re-release Metal Gear Solid on GOG.com

Metal Gear Solid was the awesome stealth-action adventure game released in 1998 for PlayStation One by Konami, and then, released for PC in 2000 by Microsoft Game Studios.
Today, many people want it on GOG.com, but Konami keeps ignoring them after Hideo Kojima escaped them. This game should be re-released on GOG.com and/or Steam at all costs.
Things to do: 1. Fix the bug "PLEASE INSERT DISC 1", because NoCD patches don't work. 2. Must be DRM-free at all costs. 3. Add compatibility for modern OS and widescreen support. 4. Must have a full PS1 soundtrack and everything that PS1 does have.
