There has been harrassment over Darren Wilson donations raised on a site called GoFundMe. According to Twitter and Facebook messages I have read from Mike Brown supporters they have associated the amount of money raised to be "racist" and demand that the site be shut down. There was a smear campaign and even threats to the donation organizer. The donations have been redirected to Shield of Hope non-profit organization. 

This petition is to reflect import that everyone has the right and free will to support a cause and raise funds to be allocated however the group sees fit. 

Any attempt to divert this ability based on a race, nationality, religion is a violation of human rights.

 International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination

Part I

Article 1

1. In this Convention, the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.

 Article 2

1. States Parties condemn racial discrimination and undertake to pursue by all appropriate means and without delay a policy of eliminating racial discrimination in all its forms and promoting understanding among all races, and, to this end: (a) Each State Party undertakes to engage in no act or practice of racial discrimination against persons, groups of persons or institutions and to en sure that all public authorities and public institutions, national and local, shall act in conformity with this obligation.
