I am God is asking for the people support in signing this Petition for the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles to ask them to relook (remittance of sentence) at Carlos Grier case in order to pardon and vacate judgement, and vacate sentence without prejudice but right of justice. Once looked at, free Carlos Grier after 26 years of injustice. God says ask of you if you have time to write the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles asking them to allow Mr. Grier an opportunity to be freed. And shine God light on this wrongful conviction.

Carlos Grier has served 26 years of a Life Sentence for a crime he did not commit. At the time of the incident, he was a young adult that found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time that led him to a road, then to prison to include five years of 24/hrs day in a cell by himself for five (5) years as punishment for speaking about his case. 

The night he lost the woman he loved. They drove into a neighborhood where they were instantly ambushed, receiving a rain of bullets directly unto their vehicle from all directions. It took one bullet to blow Lanissa’s brain out the driver, causing the vehicle to swerve and caused a car wreck into a nearby home. In that moment Carlos was bewildered and had no knowledge of the brain mass that was found throughout his hair and face to include ignorance about the details of the circumstances he was living. Carlos’s survival instinct kicked in, during the course of the the occurrence, he jumped out of the vehicle front passenger window, ran away from the flying bullets that continued targeting him, he found safe haven at a nearby home, and had the residents call an ambulance because the car had wrecked into a house front porch. After they notified him they called for ambulance, he then returned to the scene  where as he walked to the car calling his girlfriend name as he seen her sitting up in car , as the first responder officer on scene seen brain matter on his face &  put him in a patrol car without warning and in that moment puzzled, confused, ignorant of the laws, he lost his freedom. With little knowledge of the specifics of the occurred incident. Carlos Grier went from a victim of an ambush to a defendant of his girlfriend demise though her brains were blown out upon his face. After summoning for help going back to scene to help his girlfriend. 

Carlos became a victim that horrific night since then he has fought to prove his innocence discarding the fact that he was made a victim and instead chose to focus on his spiritual growth by taking the time to look within while subconsciously gaining his opportunity to ascend “Oneness with God” He has intentionally induced an inexpressible, deep, inner knowing, most importantly, an Understanding of Self, all while unveiling his true nature, gaining the experience of peace, calmness, bliss, and ecstasy, all feelings of awakening. Carlos uses this gained knowledge to inspire the development of one's mind or capacities through one's own efforts. He is currently operating as a life coach mentoring individuals in what he refers to as Corrective Thinking- understanding what one is doing when doing it by applying thoughts correctly to get positive results. He hopes to one day mentor young adults & adults to guide them in a more healthier lifestyle while teaching them how not to end up in a similar predicament as he is now.
Mr.Grier is focused on helping these children and young adults by mentoring and advocating for these children and their neighborhoods in order to provide them with better future opportunities.

The criminal justice system is not perfect, it is evident that many innocent people have been convicted of crimes they did not commit due to human error, coercion, false testimony, racism, prejudice, etc. With Advanced technology the unlimited access that we citizens have has allowed us the opportunity to witness many innocent human beings, pay for a crime they did not commit and because of this they have lost precious time with their families ( love ones)our country has improved in so many ways yet we are not where we should be as a country when it comes to our Criminal Justice System; together we can make a difference.  For now I am asking for your support in getting Carlos Grier’s case reopened and closely be evaluated in order to gain his freedom. Freedom that was taken very abruptly at a very young age 20, accused of murder, a crime; he did not commit.

Some Trial Background:

 "A person commits the offense of murder when, in the commission of a felony, he or she causes the death of another human being irrespective of malice. "

"Because an indictment setting forth all the essential elements of an offense is both mandatory and Jurisdictional, a court is without Jurisdiction to impose a sentence for an offense not charged in the indictment."

Mr.Grier indictment reads 'Murder' as follows:

" did then and there cause the death of Lanissa Wilson, a human being, intentionally and with malice aforethought, while in the commission of the felony of Aggravated Assault"

(Carlos Grier was a victim turn defendant being he was also a front seat passenger with decease who were Mr.Grier late girlfriend at the time of incident. During the incident of car being ambushed by a barrage of gun fire on both sides. Mr.Grier also went to nearby house & had residents call ambulance & went back to scene where he was arrested on scene).

Judge improperly instructed members of the jury by stating: 

" Mr.Grier is indicted for the offense of murder, felony murder. 

Judge continues numerous times improperly instructing jury in charge by stating:

"The charge in count one of the indictment is felony murder"

Judge stated again:

" If you find that the killing was done with malice...the killing would be 'Murder' or 'Felony Murder' in this case".

However, Judge acknowledge essential elements by stating:

" No person should be convicted of any crime unless and until each element of the crime is Proven beyond a reasonable doubt. "

An indictment shall be complete in form and substance every count charged in the indictment is a nonamendable defect. Furthermore, Mr.Grier suffered prejudiced when convicted of "Felony Murder with underlying felony of Aggravated Assault" charges not in his indictment which is a violation of Mr.Grier's 5th Amendment & 6th Amendment.

Judge improperly instructs members of the jury by incorrectly reading May 18, 1999 True Bill of Grand Jury indictment Count 3 by stating:

 " ( commission(of a felony murder) as alleged in Count 1). "

Indictment by Grand Jury Count 3 properly states in relevant part:

(commission(of the felony of Murder).

Also, Indictment by Grand Jury Count 1 states in relevant part:

(commission of the felony of Aggravated Assault).

Judge explained awfully confusing, complicated charge to D.A and Lawyer for defendant in regard to Count 1, all three officials approved of unlawful inadequate proceedings that was conducted by Judge.
