Anyone who has ever driven an astro, knows it is one of the most reliable and eficiant vehicles around. Not to mention one of the most comfertable. It can easily go offroad, on deactivated roads, dirt roads, or almost any other surface. It has a powerful 190 hp engine, which can outpower alot of other vehicles on the road. It comes with 8 seats, plus with the LT model, this 8 seats includes extra cargo space. Both sets of seats are removable, so you can have 2 seats with many square feet of space. 

It has been proven time and again that this van, well maintained will easily pass 350.000 km, without braking down. It can do almost anything, and look extremely stylish doing it. It is the perfect family vehicle, and I know many of us were sad to see it go, and would love to see it brought back. Back in 2011 I read on a forumn that someone emailed Gmc 3 times regarding bringing back the Astro. They said that that Gmc responded saying it would be considered, if there was public demand for it.
