First, thank you for signing this petition and for sharing your stories in the comments about how the closure will affect you, your family, your community and/or your country. Please keep sharing this petition, encouraging others to sign and adding your stories. 

Right now, we're at approximately 21,000 signatures. I am going to keep monitoring the petition and, when signatures start to level off, I will send the petition to: Unifor Local 222, Durham Region MPPs and MPs and CBC News.
