Refund or replace my faulty Holden Captiva
The issue
Holden have sold me and hundreds if not thousands of other unsuspecting consumers a LEMON in the form of a Holden Captiva (Craptiva as is known).
In the 12 months since I purchased my car (which was only 2 years old and still under a new car warranty), my vehcile has had a new tranmission (we later found out this is the second time the tranmission has been replaced), oil leaks, fuel pressure regulator replaced and has been back at Windsor Holden 5 times for a total of 6 weeks.
I had previously requested Holden refund the purchase price of my vehicle, or replace with a car of equal value, but they declined this claim, as they believe as long as they continue to attempt to fix the car, they are abiding by consumer laws.
Holden keep trying to fix these vehicles under warranty, however the constant inconvenience of this and the danger is becoming ridiculous. They have extended our warranty for another 12 months, however I feel this is not good enough.
This petition platform has worked for someone else just recently so please I'm urging you to help me and others by signing my petition. Another Captiva owner had a petition and recently came to an agreement that Holden would replace her vehicle.
You may have seen this vehicle around WA - it is another Captiva that had catastrophic engine failure.
