The Greater Vancouver Zoo has attracted many families over the years. Due to COVID-19, it is the place where GLOW (lights festival) is being held. This is a major problem. The animals who inhabit the zoo already are living in small quarters, and are unhappy. Nighttime during the winter is a very fragile time for them and it’s the only time when they can rest without the constant flow of people harassing them. GLOW festivals are loud and very bright, which will disturb the innocent animals. GLOW had the choice to any other venue in the Lower Mainland and The Greater Vancouver Zoo could’ve refused.
