After providing regular coverage of Thích Minh Tuệ’s phenomenon since 2024, Craig Lewris, Senior Editor of Buddhistdoor Global, traveled from the journal’s headquarters in Hong Kong to Lumbini to meet him directly on his pilgrimage path and conduct an in-person interview. The encounter took place quietly in the unfinished construction area behind the Cambodian temple complex, far from formal halls or ceremonial spaces. Conducted amid exposed foundations and raw earth rather than completed architecture, the setting mirrored the spirit of The Dharma Unadorned: a meeting grounded in presence rather than presentation, where the absence of polish allowed practice itself to remain fully visible.
