Pickleball Meeting at Park Center, November 16, 2022 at 6pm at Lakeview Room

Hello Pickleballers and allies:

The Park & Facility Services, Environmental Committee Meeting will be held next Wednesday November 16, 2022 at the Park Center at 2400 Chestnut in Glenview, Lakeview Room.

Please join us.

I am seeking five volunteer speakers to represent our vibrant community (3 minutes each), the topics are:

—-Petition Presentation, Nextdoor and GroupMe Community Statistics (Korman)

—-Fastest growing sport in USA and statistics: Seeking volunteer

—-Health Benefits: Seeking volunteer

—-Social Benefits: Seeking volunteer

—-Most anyone can play: Seeking volunteer

—-Concluding speaker: Seeking volunteer

Please keep in mind that the proposal on the table is for new courts at Flick Park near or on the existing sand volleyball courts (which will be relocated).  

This is not a meeting to inject additional location ideas for new Pickleball Courts. If you desire to speak to this topic it should be a stand alone topic apart from this advocacy effort.
