The Boston Celtics are retiring the #5 for Kevin Garnett before the Minnesota Timberwolves retire his #21. The beef and pettiness between ownership and Kevin Garnett has gone on for too long and KG deserves his night and his legacy forever honored within the franchise. Sign this petition to send Minnesota Timberwolves owner, Glen Taylor, a message that enough is enough. The fanbase for the wolves want to celebrate and honor the years of Garnett carrying the franchise on his back to the only consistent playoff appearances this team has ever know. Virtually every superstar since KG (Kevin Love and Jimmy Butler) has communicated a deaire to get off of our team and away from our city. When KG won his championship in Boston, he dedicated it to the people of Minnesota. He came back to retire here when he didn't have to (waived his no trade clause). KG has been loyal to us when very few people in his position haven't done the same. It's time that we, the fans of the Minnesota Timberwolves, share the same commitment and loyalty back to Kevin Garnett by signing this petition and making sure that his place in franchise history is cemented and he is honored for being the greatest Timberwolf in franchise history.
