Dear Year 11 Gleeson College Students & Families,

On Monday 5th November 2018, the Year 11 students were informed by the Leadership team at Gleeson College that a decision had been made that there would be no Year 12 Formal held in 2019.

We believe that the Year 12 Formal is an important part of our last year of high school as well as one of the last times to make memories with our peers that will be cherished and remembered for years to come. Year 12 Formal is a night that Gleeson has celebrated for many years to which we have been looking forward to the tradition since the start of our journey at Gleeson.  

Graduation is an academic ceremonial event for families of students to celebrate the successes of their child's education. Formal is a night for students to gather in a fun and youthful way where students are able to dance, socialize and celebrate with fellow peer members in their last year as a cohort.
