As of December 6, on-street parking on Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands, will increase from 20p per hour to 80p per hour (full story on The Extra website).

We, the undersigned, call on Glasgow City Council to: a) review its on-street parking policy in Shawlands, as a 300% increase is counter-productive to the people who live and work there and to the council's own Shawlands Town Centre Action Plan, and b) actively engage the opinions of stakeholders in Shawlands regarding future proposals.
