Glasgow central train station is a beautiful place, however I avoid spending too much time there in case I spot a pigeon. Not because I'm scared or they make me uneasy, but because I can't bring myself to look at their feet (or what's left of them.) Their feet are deformed and missing toes or even left with just stumps to walk on due to acid jelly. Acid jelly is applied to beams and other landing sites for the birds around the station in order to prevent them landing and resting there. This acid jelly burns the pigeons feet causing pain and infection leading to unnecessary deformation of the feet. This is simply barbaric. It hurts to watch the birds hobbling around or standing on one foot due to pain and discomfort caused by this. Please sign this petition in order for this cruelty to stop.
