NSW government to end their support of the horse racing industry

Government support of horse racing is encouraging problem gambling and animal cruelty.
A horse dies on a race track every 3 days, we should not be surprised by the death of The Cliffsofmoher at the Melbourne Cup, this is business as usual in the industry.
The NSW government shows a great deal of support to the industry in cash support, promotion through their social media accounts and even using out Opera House.
NSW government funds the "Office of Racing" that is responsible for developing and managing racing governance frameworks and supporting the growth and economic viability of racing in New South Wales.
NSW even has a ministry dedicated to racing (horse and greyhound)
It is time that the government used our hard earned tax money to support more worthy causes that help build community, not encourage problem gambling and cause great trauma to horses.
