Dear Secretary Jewell, We hiked together on Hidden Lake trail in Glacier National Park this Centennial summer and talked of natural sounds. On our hike, there were no helicopters because they knew you were here. You wanted to experience the Park as it is. You did not get to experience the Park as visitors must, you got to experience the Park as it should be. Noise pollution is ignored because it can't be seen. Glacier is not only losing glaciers, but is losing the very essence of why people visit a wilderness national park – the natural soundscape. We need to restore Glacier's quiet. We need your help to help Glacier achieve Quiet!, a process started 17 years ago, and blocked by an inter-agency quagmire that needs your and the President's intervention NOW! Please!
