Wheeler High School has decided to plan taking away a beautiful tradition from their seniors, which used to allow them to show their individuality and uniqueness that contributes to the school culture and enables students to leave a lasting positive legacy and message on their beloved school, senior quotes. This tradition is cherished among upperclassmen throughout the nation, and fondly looked forward to by students, teachers, and parents alike. Although concerns have been raised about the regulation of quotes, taking them away altogether is not the answer nor the will of the people. We must act as soon as possible to let the administration hear and understand that we still have a voice and say in our education and school legacy. Help by signing the petition to preserve a national symbol of the freedom of expression.
