I’m excited to share that I’ve recently launched a series of articles titled “From Foundations to Futures: Building Caregiver Protections Across States to Shape Colorado's Family Responsibilities Act.” This series will explore how states like New York, California, and Illinois have led the way in protecting caregivers from workplace discrimination, providing us with invaluable lessons for crafting the Colorado Family Responsibilities Protection Act (CFRPA).

The first article in the series, “New York’s Human Rights Framework: Setting the Stage for Caregiver Protections,” will be released shortly. It will highlight the key people, challenges, and solutions behind New York City’s landmark 2016 amendment that protected caregivers from workplace discrimination.
