This is a petition to having online learning at western university. The number of cases are still rising and returning to in-person classes are putting students at risk. Many students are sharing a place with few roommates which they have to share washroom and kitchen , also travelling from home to school increase the risk of getting infected which is the most alarming fact that the university might neglect. Some students might have already get infected but still have to attend in person classes will increase the risk of spreading as Omicron can affect fully vaccinated as much as unvaccinated people . All of us want a better environment for studies but safety is the main concern for students and staff . Reducing exposure and stay at home for class is the best way to keep us healthy and safe during the pandemic .
