First of all, thank you.

Thank you for creating a game that has become a part of our daily lives. For many of us, Love and Deepspace is not just another mobile game. It is a place we return to every day, a world that has comforted us, made us smile, and introduced us to characters we have come to genuinely love.

I have been playing since shortly after the game’s release. Over time, I didn’t just find one favorite character—I came to love every one of them. Each of them has their own story, personality, and place in my heart.

When Valko was introduced, I wasn’t looking for someone to replace the characters I already loved.

I was simply excited to welcome someone new into this family.

His design, personality, and the feeling he gave from the very first reveal immediately caught my attention. I found myself wondering what his story would be like, imagining the moments we would share, and looking forward to learning more about him. I had already started saving Diamonds and setting aside money because I wanted to support his release, just as I have supported Love and Deepspace through Aurum Pass, Battle Pass, and other purchases over the years.

Then the announcement came.

At first, I couldn’t believe it.

I kept checking official sources, hoping I had misunderstood something.

I was shocked, heartbroken, and honestly didn’t know what to do.

The only comfort I found was discovering that I wasn’t alone. Across Reddit, X, Discord, TikTok, and other communities, I saw countless international players expressing the same sadness, disappointment, and disbelief.

Many of us were ready to meet Valko.

But before we had the opportunity to read his story…

Before we could understand who he truly was…

Before he had even a single chance to become part of Love and Deepspace…

He was gone.

Every character deserves the chance to tell their story.

Every player deserves the chance to decide for themselves whether they connect with that character.

Valko was never given that chance.

We completely understand that managing a global game means listening to many different opinions, and we respect how difficult those decisions must be. This letter is not written to criticize any community or ask you to ignore anyone else’s concerns.

Instead, we simply hope that the voices of international players can also be heard.

Many players outside of China were genuinely excited for Valko. Many of us are long-time players who have supported the game financially through memberships, battle passes, and banner purchases whenever possible. We do so because we believe in this game and want to continue supporting it for many years to come.

However, this decision has left many international players feeling that our excitement, our support, and our voices matter less. Some players have even shared that they are considering leaving a game they truly love because they no longer feel represented.

We don’t want that.

We don’t want division.

We don’t want anyone’s voice to be ignored.

We simply hope that every part of this wonderful community can be heard with equal respect.

If the original release schedule for Valko became difficult, perhaps there are other possibilities. Delaying his release, adjusting future updates, or introducing him later would all give him the opportunity he never received.

Please don’t let his story end before it even begins.

Please let us meet the person you introduced to us.

Please give Valko the chance he never had.
