This year, Halloween falls on a Sunday. The day after, people are going to be extremely tired and worn out, and need to sleep in. It makes sense and is the healthiest option rather than getting up at 6 or 7 in the morning. What SLUH has decided to do is not only make us have school on November 1st, but also require formal attire for mass. This is a terrible, unhealthy decision that will result in a day of less productivity, tiredness, and fatigue. Why should students have to dread something that is supposed to be a holiday? 

However, compromise always is best, which is why a late start is the best way for students to be fully rested and ready to work effectively throughout the day. Please, spread this like wildfire to the SLUH community, so that our voices can be heard!
