As a parent, one of my greatest joys is to see the happiness and excitement in my son's eyes when his favorite character, Shrek, graces the screen. However, with the surprising changes in Shrek's design in the forthcoming Shrek 5 movie, i am deeply disappointed in the new design. 

Shrek, an endearing character, has captured hearts worldwide. With a gross earning of over $3.5 billion from its franchise, Shrek's popularity is undeniable (source: Box Office Mojo). Despite variations and tweaks over the years, keeping the essence of the character design has been crucial in maintaining its character familiarity and integrity.

The new design revealed for Shrek 5 alienates many fans,  who have grown to love Shrek's original visual identity. Thus, to preserve the legacy and respect the feelings of numerous fans worldwide, we call upon the film-makers to reconsider and modify Shrek's design in Shrek 5.

Sign our petition to reestablish the charm and appeal of our beloved Shrek, and to ensure that once again, the world can revel in the delight that the original Shrek design brings to fans young and old.
