Thank You Messages!

So, we are a week away from going to Parliament and meeting with the MP's that backed our 'Funding for Second Stem Cell Transplant' campaigns and helped us push for the decision to be changed. I am really looking forward to being able to thank them personally for their continued support that they showed throughout our campaign and putting the pressure on the Government and NHS England alongside us and many others! I am looking forward to meeting with our team from Change and the team from Anthony Nolan that worked with us to fight this battle. It should be a great day and I will update you all about it next week. So, when we arrive at the Houses of Commons and go to meet the MP's we will have the chance to give them something from ourselves and change.org to say thank you and after speaking with the team we have decided that we would like to present them with a thank you card with messages of thanks from you guys, the people! The ones who without the compassion and support, none of this would have even been possible. I still cannot get over how massive this change has been for so many people, I cried tears of joy when I heard the news but since talking with many people about this they have really opened my eyes as to what we have actually achieved! Never in my wildest dreams did I think we could make it happen as quickly as it did, the amount of complete selflessness that I have witnessed from so many people through this journey with Sasha has been captivating and enchanting, dreams really can come true if you keep on believing and with the help of all you amazing people we have made people's dreams become a reality! If you would like to leave a thank you message to the MP's that helped make this possible then please write in the comments below, we will try and include as many as we can within the card. This is such a great way to show that there are so many good people out there who may come from many different backgrounds but when it comes to something we all truly believe in and feel compassionate about we can all pull together and make a difference! How amazing is that! I really cannot thank you all enough for standing with us, it really has made me smile continuously every time I have thought about it over the last couple of weeks! I look forward to sharing our experience with you all next week and including a picture of the day! Thank you all so much! People Power at its Best! x
