The Issue

Robbie Banks is more than just an inmate behind bars; she is a mother, a sister, and a daughter loved dearly by her family. For those of us who know Robbie personally, we understand the depth of her remorse and the enormous potential she possesses to contribute positively to society.

Robbie was sentenced for a  offense in a moment of grave misjudgment. She has since spent her time in prison reflecting on her past mistakes and is ready to transform her life for the better. It's been years now, and during her incarceration, Robbie has pursued therapy, participated in educational programs, and volunteered to help fellow inmates cope with their struggles. She has demonstrated not only rehabilitation but also a genuine desire to make amends and move forward as a constructive member of society.

The criminal justice system should allow individuals the opportunity for rehabilitation and redemption, especially in cases like Robbie's, where overwhelming evidence of personal growth and achievements exists. Statistics from the National Institute of Justice indicate that giving individuals like Robbie a second chance can significantly reduce recidivism rates, ultimately benefitting society as a whole.

We urge the justice system to consider Robbie’s case for early release and probation, allowing her to be reunited with her family who awaits her return with open arms. Her freedom would not just mark a new beginning for Robbie but would also heal the many hearts that have been pained by her absence.

Please help us bring Robbie Banks back to her family and loved ones, and support her second chance at life outside of prison. Sign this petition to urge the authorities to grant her the clemency she deserves.
