Having already watched Daenerys Targaryen’s painful tragic turn in Game of Thrones, we feel the television universe has a golden opportunity to do something different this time around.

The Ask: We respectfully ask the showrunners to celebrate Rhaenyra’s strength, dignity, and sacrifices through a narrative arc that honors her efforts as a ruler. Rather than letting her legacy be defined strictly by the biased "in-universe maesters" who wrote the history books, let HBO give us a portrayal that reflects her true resilience and noble spirit.
