The Labour government should give pensioners their winter fuel payment back because it’s a disgrace and a lot of people depend on this payment.

The impacts of this being taken will hurt thousands and cause a build up on our already broken NHS.

In 2019 Rachel Reeves the then Shadow Chancellor said in a Facebook post “Shocking figures from the @ONS this week shows 23,200 more people died in England & Wales during the winter 2018-2019 compared to the rest of the year. 4 Million UK households are unable to afford #WarmSafeHomes, I’ll work to end fuel poverty if re elected.”
