Thankyou everyone for continuing to share this petition.  It is a message long over due for the QLD TMR to take public transport in the Cairns Kuranda Tablelands region seriously.

With the Kuranda range reaching its capacity for locals to travel safely,  there needs to be alternatives of travel for the community to thrive!  We are asking government stakeholders to listen!  There is a rail line already available which locals would like to use.  Whether for work or leisure we need a train not solely used for tourism.

Now that the Barron Bridge is needing repair there are big questions to be answered on the viability of current infrastructure.
