The Issue

I am asking for an opportunity to return to the profession I spent years serving.

On August 14, 2026, the Louisiana EMS Certification Commission denied my application to regain my Louisiana paramedic license.

I recognize that my history is part of my record. I am not asking Louisiana to pretend that my past does not exist. I am asking that my present fitness matter too.

I presented evidence of my education, professional development, current certifications, employment history, recommendation letters, character evidence, and the progress I have made. I believe those things deserve meaningful consideration when determining whether I am fit to return to practice.

I am asking the Louisiana Department of Health and EMS Certification Commission to reconsider my application and provide a fair path for me to regain my Louisiana paramedic license.

Rehabilitation should mean something. Growth should mean something. Present fitness should mean something.

If you believe a qualified professional who has demonstrated growth and rehabilitation deserves a fair opportunity to return to his profession, please sign this petition and support my request for reconsideration.
