The Issue

Please reinstate (Me) Jaylen Hightower to my position at Piedmont Airlines.

I was a reliable ramp agent at Piedmont’s DTW station. My termination stemmed from a misunderstanding involving a misplaced iPad, which was later cleared legally and dismissed in court. I cooperated fully, maintained professionalism, and has completed every step to return to work including being cleared by the credentials office.

I’ve shown accountability, character, and perseverance in trying to right the situation. I believe I deserve a second chance to continue my career and rebuild what I worked hard for.

I ask management to consider my re-employment with Piedmont Airlines (DTW)

I understand the importance of accountability. I also believe in fairness, growth, and the idea that good employees can make mistakes and recover from them. I’m asking for an opportunity to make things right and return to the work I take pride in.

According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, more than 1 in 3 employers are willing to give employees a second chance following a resolved legal matter especially when the issue was nonviolent and unintentional. I’m simply asking to be one of them.

If you believe in second chances, fairness, and the value of restoring opportunity, I invite you to sign this petition and help me present a united request to Piedmont Airlines management. Your support truly matters.
