For too long, pipelines have been over built on indigenous lands. Community leaders agree to them being built as they have no choice. These communities need the money for clean drinking water, which they should already have, and food, as well as better living commodities. 

I think that community members should have more of a say on whether or not these pipelines are built on their land. As of now, construction of these pipelines are up to the chiefs of these communities, and that is unfair. Members feel unsafe when pipelines are built, having to be scared that one spill can ruin their lives.
