multiple critics have attempted to justify this portrayal as showing de facto borders, while in de facto terms Russia had control of Crimea at the time of the modern-day scenario, that being January of 2022, the territorial control is still not accurately shown, and separatist regions are not shown either, this shows a pro-Russian portrayal by showing that the Russian claims are justified.
