Just like how the president can only be elected a maximum of 2 times, congress should have the same thing enforced on them. Less than only 3 months ago, senator Dianne Feinstein dies at the age of 90. 90 is an absurd age to be making decisions for this country. The average age of a U.S. citizen is 38.9 years old, while the average age for a U.S. senator is 64 years old. With a gap of almost 30 years in age, our senators are certainly almost fully out of touch from the issues which the average citizen faces in 2023. There should be a limit of 2 6 year terms for senators in the U.S. so we don't have former incumbent senators returning to the senate until they are dying in the senate from old age, at 90.
