For almost every American family with kids, regular monthly checks will so be coming, thanks to the American Rescue Plan. It is a reality. But, the only way to receive the monthly check is to file your taxes.  

If you have $0 income, or made so little you don’t think it’s worth filing, please reconsider. This new tax cut will refund money to you even if you didn’t owe any federal taxes! 

Starting in July, for families with up to $400,000 in income, monthly checks of up to $300 per child will start to flow through a program called the Child Tax Credit. And the Earned Income Tax Credit will go to more families as well, including bigger amounts to families without kids. 

These changes could mean significantly more money coming to millions of individuals and families across America right now, when we need it most. But you have to file your taxes to receive them.
