Well... I've been sitting here watching the events on TV trying to decide what I should post and you know what? Let's go with my actual feelings. Quite frankly, the outcome of the election is disappointing, and I won't deny that I'm not happy. The Tory-DUP government will be even more determined to push issues that affect us like education, jobs and our NHS to the back of the queue while they focus on a Brexit that doesn't invest in our futures. That said, a huge shout out and so much praise for the younger voters who went out and used their vote that stopped this election from becoming a landslide victory for the Tories. You've shown that we as the younger generation are capable of voting and you guys are honestly amazing. I'm pretty sure any government will think twice before dismissing young votes as nothing! Let's keep the momentum going and show the government that we won't give up getting us the right to vote! #YoungVote #WeWantTheVote
