There are approximately 10 million Girl Scouts & Girl Guides around the world &, in the past 110 years, there have been millions upon millions of women who are proud Girl Scout / Guide Alums. To help Girl Scouts & Guides to both:

1) Communicate via their most contemporary platforms (text & social media) AND  2) Via those same platforms, to proudly represent themselves, their accomplishments, & all of their hard work in their respective communities, countries, & our world

The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia have started a petition to request the "Girl Scout / Guide Sign" become an officially recognized Unicode emoji.  

As a current or former Girl Scout / Guide, family member, &/or friend, by signing this petition, you demonstrate your support of the mission to enable girls & young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world, & to build girls of courage, confidence & character who make the world a better place. 

To help promote Girl Scouting/ Guiding when using social media to the non-Girl Scout community & to celebrate our accomplishments within the Girl Scouting & Guiding communities, we hope to collect as many signatures as possible by March of 2021.
