Petition for Gigabyte to join the Razer Connected Devices Program.

The Issue

Gigabyte/Aorus has done awesome RGB implementations on their devices on the past years, and they keep showing that they are one of the best on the market, since then, the market has changed and moved to support the RGB fever as much as possible, and many brands have taken notice of the importance of a good software to control the hardware out there. In a more and more bigger market, everyone is trying to have something flashy and awesome out there, and Gigabyte has accomplished that... partially.

Razer has created the "Razer Chroma Connected Devices Program" which aims to connect all the devices from all brands in one software, and be able to sync all the RGB together, despite the device or brand. This is awesome news for all PC Gamers and enthusiast, because for many years we had to deal with multiple programs running, having to configure multiple instances of "profiles" for each program/device, and finally this could fulfill our needs on illumination.

However, Gigabyte doesn't seem to care about this, and they still force their own implementation called "RGB Fusion", which to be honest, is a piece of software that is really out of date, buggy, incomplete, and lacking support. It's true that every brand want their users to use their own software, devices, and build their own ecosystem, but, that  doesn't mean that they can't share to grow stronger, if other big brands have joined, there is no excuse for Gigabyte to not form part of it as well.

Every Aorus/Gigabyte user has noticed that RGB Fusion is not on par with other brands, and specially not at the level of Razer Synapse 2/3. Razer has been a pioneer on lightning implementation, not only on hardware level, but most importantly on software level. Razer is now just trying to help other brands, by offering the integration, so everything can be integrated in a polished platform. This petition is to put pressure over Gigabyte, so they can join the program, pressure that is required since Razer is open to any brand that wants to join, this means that is up to Gigabyte to decide it, and if we don't pressure them they will keep forcing users to use incomplete software.

If this happens, doesn't mean that people will stop using the RGB fusion software, there will still be people using it. Not everyone likes Razer, and a lot of users will just stay with the options they are offered by Gigabyte. Likewise, there are a people that will like to have all their peripherals and devices synced together, and this will be a perfect solution. This will benefit Gigabyte as well, because they will appeal more for the people that likes the Razer ecosystem, knowing that they can sync all that Gigabyte can offer with Synapse.
