Replacing plastic bags at Giant grocery stores for hemp plastic would have tons of amazing benefits. Only around 1% of plastics are recycled (according to Center for Biological Diversity). Up to 80% of plastic pollution ends up in the ocean. 14 billion tons of garbage, mostly plastic is being dumped into the ocean each year. This is  devastating to our natural ecosystems.
