Due to COVID-19, all non essential businesses around the country are currently being shut down. Due to such a high demand in cleaning supplies, grocery items, personal care items such as toilet paper and so on, Giant Eagle is one of the largest chains being hit hard with sales at this time. Giant Eagle employees are taking on a much larger workload in a both stressful and compromised environment due to being around the general public and possibly risking exposure to the virus.
