Need for Speed was THE street racing game that pretty much EVERY gamer should have played. But the series has moved away from it's popular 2003-2008 games such as Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover.

The series was taken from Black Box's hands and given to Criterion, who changed the whole idea of the series and pretty much messed it up.

The series has now been given to a studio built specifically for Need for Speed. So far they are doing an awesome job at trying to mix together an experience that fans of the older and newer titles will somewhat enjoy.

Unlike Criterion, EA Ghost have also been listening to the fans, which lead to them talking about the possibility of Underground 3 being created.

It was said by EA Ghost's head, Marcus Nilsson, that if they knew Underground 3 could sell 15 million that it would be done. This sounds like an insane number to be aiming for, but I personally believe this was a number he pulled from the sky. None of the new 3rd and 4th generation Need for Speed games so far have sold 15 million, but we know for sure that Underground 3 would destroy the sales of these newer titles.

Providing we show a significant amount of support towards this petition... I think we can get back our old Need for Speed. Hopefully not some rip-off last minute job like the new Most Wanted game.
